Ain't life funny!

Sometimes you wonder what life is all about...how futile it can be. The meeting of minds can be abolished by the touch of buttons on a small battery operated device. Call me an old fashioned girl or something if you like!
Loyalty, friendship and honesty are my policy - not empty words. Words have their meanings and when people use their energies to express feelings I consider this to be special and sincere..I guess everybody is different and do not have the same virtues. The more I remember this the better..That's my rant for a wet and dull, November Sunday! Although the wind is proving healthy and blowing away a bit of sadness.

Dirty mind!! I'm talkin about a communicating device - that was invented in the 80s I believe!! and looked at that time a bit like a 'Brick' :)
What sort of pics do you like taking then? Ilove Andy Goldsworthy's stuff of natural element photography!

Transformer - what a great album!! I have that on vinyl too!! People are interesting and so too are buildings...depending on the buildings of course! Andy Goldsworthy is great but so too are some of the social relaist photographers. I like Don McCullens war photography...tragic but moving pictures

Goldsworthy's stuff is based on natural elements and sculpture - I don't know whether he actually takes the photos himself or whether someone else does. I'll have to give google a search to find out!!

I've lived avaried life and learned about different stuff along the way...plus I'm interested in learning about new things most of the time.I'm one of them people that likes to keep my brain active with new stimulation!!Bit of an info junkie I suppose. The photography knowledge stems back to an ex, years ago who was training to be a photographer..I learned quite a bit about photography then. Cartier Bresson is another good one to look at if I remember rightly!

So did you learn the language? Czech republic has always been an interesting place in my opinion...what did you do whilst you were there?

Yes they've certainly seen some changes since the fall of communism...What luck to get first hand accounts of your ex's parents experiences!
I lived in Denmark for a few years although their history is not as revolutionary as the czechs!! Although the Vikings were pretty radical I suppose! :)
